This policy explains what information Hfpn (hfpn.us) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and specific because you should be able to read it in a few minutes.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form you send us your name, email address, subject and message. When you sign up for our newsletter you give the form provider your email address and any other fields the form asks for.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and the services described below record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page and the time of your visit.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them, or allow partners to use them, to measure traffic and to serve and measure advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may work differently if you do.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how readers use the site, such as which articles are read and how people arrive. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

Ads on Hfpn are delivered through Revive Adserver, served from ads.fnatrx.com. The ad server may set cookies or read device information to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad and count impressions and clicks. Advertisers do not receive your name or email address from us.

Newsletter

Our newsletter signup form is provided by Sphere CRM and loads from link.sphere-crm.com. Information you enter there is collected and stored by that provider to manage our mailing list. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Headlines from other publishers

Some pages show headlines from other publishers' RSS feeds, which our own server fetches and caches. Clicking a headline takes you to that publisher's website, which has its own privacy practices.

Third-party links

Articles link to outside sites, including government agencies, professional organizations and businesses. We aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

How we use information

We use information to answer messages, send the newsletter you asked for, understand what content is useful, keep the site secure, and support the advertising that pays for the publication. We do not sell your contact details.

Your rights

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You may request to know what personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Readers in the EU, UK and similar jurisdictions (GDPR). You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Other U.S. state privacy laws give residents similar rights. To make any request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first.

Data retention and security

We keep contact messages only as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable records. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website can guarantee perfect security.

Children

Hfpn is written for adult professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of the page.
